Lamokin Street (SEPTA station) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Lamokin Street (SEPTA station) The Lamokin Street SEPTA Station is a former SEPTA Regional Rail station located on SEPTA's Wilmington/Newark Line at Lamokin Street in Chester, Pennsylvania, adjacent to an electrical substation that provides power to both Amtrak's Northeast Corridor and SEPTA's Media/Elwyn lines. The station also served as the junction for the Chester Creek Branch. The branch line was operated by the Pennsylvania Railroad and later Penn Central, until service ended in 1972 due to damage caused by Hurricane Agnes. The station was classified as a "flag stop," which required passengers to tell the train crew that they wanted to board or depart prior to arrival. The station was closed in 2003 due to infrequent use. SEPTA service in Chester is currently handled by the Highland Avenue and Chester Transportation Center stations.〔("Existing Railroad Stations in Delaware County, Pennsylvania." ) ''Pennsylvania Railroad Stations Past & Present'' (Dan West).
